happy may!

5 months old

here's our little cutie snuggle bug!
he turned 5 months old yesterday :)



he keeps us entertained and has grown so much since we got him! (he's over 10 pounds now!) he has learned some tricks -- he can sit, lay, roll over, jump up - we have so much fun with him. he is pretty proud of himself cause now he can jump up on the couch by himself and go sit and look out the window :) it's pretty cute. this is one of his favorite spots now:



just wanted to say "hi" and "happy saturday" from snuggles! :)

the sun is shining today, and although the temperature is still in the 30s, it seemed like a good day to make these springy cookies :)



hopefully the weather will warm up SOON and the rest of the snow will melt!!!

crazy snow week!

we had an early release from school tuesday and then got dumped on!! about a foot of snow came tuesday night... so we had snow days wednesday and thursday! we haven't gone out too much in this crazy cold snowland. SO ready for it to melt and the temperatures to be above 0!

(snuggles has gained over 3 pounds since we got him!!! can you tell he's getting bigger?) :)

in other news -- last weekend we had some fun visitors...
(who you may recognize) snuggles tried to make a new friend... although he was pretty scared of gilbert most of the time and tried to bite his nose once or twice! (haha) it was funny to see them together.



and charissa and i made another round of cake pops! :)

For Christmas I got this cakepop cookbook!
I was excited to try to improve my technique and try new designs, and this weekend I decided to make my first batch! :)

Friends of ours just had a baby and we are taking them supper, so I made these for their dessert for fun!


I couldn't resist showing you this little cutie snow face!

we woke up this morning and it was -14 degrees outside! YUCK!
looking forward to spring... or just a temp. above 0 would be a good start :)

New Year, New House, New Family Member :)

(And no, we aren't pregnant) -- We got an ADORABLE puppy!! :)

Meet Snuggles:



He's the cutest thing. EVER.

The only trouble with getting snuggles is that our apartment does not allow dogs for ANY reason. Period. So we talked about it, prayed about it, decided to get snuggles anyway - and move. :) (Yes, we know we are crazy!) We are now renting an adorable house that's only a minutes drive from Ben's school and a blessing!!

I'll have to take some more pictures of the house and put them up here soon.

All that to say we sure started our new year with a bang :)
